An Intimate Winter Wedding at Spanish Hills Country Club
When Milosh and Desiree planned their wedding, they imagined it “simple and intimate”. Only close family and friends there to witness them exchanging their vows and not a a dry eye in attendance as they both walked down the aisle with their respective mothers. I was no exception and have to admit that my eyes watered a little! So much emotion and love surrounded the couple that day…
Because it was winter, the sun was setting right after their ceremony, so Desiree and Milosh decided to do a first look so they could spend more time together and take some romantic photos in daylight. It’s always a good idea to plan your wedding day with sunset in mind, especially if you are getting married during Winter!
Milosh waited on the lawn and I could feel the happy tension rising, while Desiree was slowly walking towards him. Even though they both came to the venue together, Milosh was deeply moved to see his future wife in her beautiful David Bridal’s dress.
(When I asked Desiree about her back tattoo, she told me it was a haunted house and that she liked creepy stuff. I knew then she was my kind of bride! I love creepy stuff too. And I love your tattoos Desiree! <3 )
We followed the first look with half an hour of romantic photos in the Gardens of the Spanish Hills and Country Club. So much laugher and beautiful moments! The entire day was stress free as Milosh and Desiree had included extra time in their itinerary to take photos. They could focus on each other then and on their guests later. What a fun wedding!
It was then time to get married! The Santa Ana wind was making the palm trees dance in the background, while Desiree and Milosh walked arm in are with their mothers. The short but sweet ceremony was full of beautiful promises and words of love.
As everybody cheered and high fived them, the new couple made their Grand Entrance! It was followed by their first dance to "Time After Time" by Margaret Whiting. They both slowly turned and sang to each other the sweet words…
“And time after time
You'll hear me say that I'm
So lucky to be loving you”
Congratulations to you two!
