Point Dume Minimalist Wedding

Matt and Sara met years ago, well before they exchanged their first kiss… It all started because of a crème brûlée. If you ask me, love stories that start with food are some of the most romantic! I still remember the meal I had the night I met my now husband, to say…

Matt and Sara contacted me less than a week before their micro wedding! They planned on getting married very simply, in front of their closest family member and the Ocean. Their officiant had told them he and his spouse regretted not hiring a professional photographer at their wedding and that pretty much convinced Matt and Sara to search for someone to capture their Big Yes. And how glad I was recommended to them!

Sara’s got ready with her daughter, who made her hairstyle. She found her beautiful (and sexy!) beach wedding dress in a thrift shop. It was meant to be… I love how romantic the dress is, and let her gorgeous tattoos show!

Matt was working in Hawaii and moved back to California right before the wedding. His coworker gave him a very particular and very precious departure gift, that he was wearing that day. What you sea around his neck is a peace sign made with the original Woodstock wooden scene. I would say, it is a sacred item!

The ceremony was short but sweet. A lot of emotions in Sara’s eyes and loving words from Matt. The family gathered together and because it was a 2020 wedding, everybody but the couple was wearing a mask.

After their first kiss as a married couple, right when the sun was setting behind the horizon, we took the Romantics together. This was one of my favorite wedding this year. Simple, elegant, fun and full of beautiful loving energies! Congratulation Matt and Sara!!!
