  1. COORDINATE COLORS

Pick up a color and use all the shades from this color to coordinate your family’s outfits.
From cream to brown with shades of chocolate, rusty orange and burnt yellow, this family decided to go for a classic fall colors. Oh, yes, it’s my family by the way!

2. GO FULL ON VINTAGE

Erin and Aurora got it right when they decided to go full on vintage. Choose a decade (or many) and create a romantic and dreamy tableau. Shades of blues, boho patterns, ethnic embroideries and some vintage jewelry are some of the accessories you might want to wear, to enhance the vintage fall look of your session.
Oh and don’t forget to ditch the shoes!

3. WEAR BOLD COLORS AND TEXTURIZE

Hawaiian shirt, plated skirt and white lace blouse, this family was not afraid of mixing colors and patterns and it works! The parents are both wearing saffron: boldly on a skirt and by touches on a shirt. The yellow and the green of the shirt and of the baby boy’s trouser is what link them all and make the family look cohesive.
What makes it fun here? Different textures ! The geometric pattern of the plated skirt is calming and modernizing the traditional look of the lace. Unique and elegant, allying modern and vintage, it’s a win win!

4. ACCESSORIZE!

I don’t know what is cuter than a kiddo with a bow tie and suspenders! The two boys look like little rock stars with their shirts tucked in, slim jeans, black converses and long curls. We have some blue, black and pink. Don’t forget to accessorize for your fall session: we often think about jewelry but not often little bow tie or suspenders! And bonus point, it totally works for little girls too (AND adults!)
If you are feeling the halloween vibe, why not wearing a little accessorize for one photo? Look at these skeletons’ hand, so creepy! Like my son would say: “it’s Rock’n’roooooooooll!”
