L.A. City Bride - White Lace, Skateboard and Rocknroll

In Long Beach, brides can skate! I’ve never seen so many people on skate and rollers and all sorts of bicycle than in this city. I remembered visiting the city a couple of years ago and knowing in my heart I will live here one day. The ocean, the kindness of people, their wild and positive attitude, the free yoga on the bluff everyday (actually, you’ll see Erin teach there every Thursday!), the cool coffee shops and the best bread of the region, the kids playing around, the hundreds of vintage shops, the rainbow cross walk… I could continue forever!

For me, this city is a little gem. Every summer Pow Wow Long Beach organize a series of street art exhibitions: “Pow ! Wow! brings art and culture to public spaces by beautifying the city while cultivating community pride. When I passed by this mural by Poni, it became an obsession and I knew I had to bring my friend Erin in front of it for an improvised photo session.

Tony Serrato from Tony Bridal lended me a beautiful dress that he designed. I couldn’t believe how comfortable and soft this little beauty was. I knew Erin could rock it with converses on a skateboard. Vanessa Thomas from La Boheme Botanicals created the perfect bouquet for this little out-of-the-box session, which added extra pop of colors.

Would you skate on your wedding day?
