Reasons to get married at The Reef in Long Beach, CA

Kristina and Erik’s got married at The Reef, in Long Beach. I loved photographing their union, that took place at the waterfront. This Croatian American couple included some Mediterranean touches in their reception details and their simple ceremony foliage.

1 The Outdoor Areas

The courtyard offer a breathtaking view on the waterfront and downtown Long Beach. Kristina and Erik got married in front of a simple arch filled with greenery and foliage. The cocktail area faced Downtown Long Beach and offered the most beautiful sunset over a sea of city lights.

2. BALL ROOM RECEPTION

The Ball room was filled with natural light and offered enough space to fit up to 300 guests. I particularly love the small olive trees as center piece. It reminded me my hometown, in the South of France. The table were simple yet elegant.

3. CATCHING THE SUNSET ON THE MARINA

As the sun was setting, we caught the last portraits of the days. The golden lights, the boats and the waterfront in the background made the sunset session very romantic.
