Wedding Day Tips For Couple
The morning of your wedding day
Do NOT wear: bra, socks, hair ties around the wrist, watches… Also socks if you will wear open shoes (only exception for German people).
Shave the day before and hydrate your skin with products that you regularly use.
Steam your wedding outfit ahead of time.
Don’t wear anything that has to come out over head. A robe, a button-down shirt, a pajama with button is perfect for you getting ready.
Remove any jewelry and piercings in advance if you don’t want them in your photos.
Snack around. Snack snack snack. Drink mostly water (I don’t know about you but a drink equal four when I’m nervous).
Put some music on. You can plan on having a special playlist for your big day.
Wedding Day Tips
Drink plenty of water, take the time to eat.
Don't go tanning the day before or the day of. Don't forget to apply sunscream if your wedding is outdoor. Not the shiny type of sunblock though ;)
Have someone carry your purse if you need it during the day. Don't carry anything in your pockets, it may show and I won't be able to edit it out.
Communicate with me! I'm here for you so don't hesitate to speak up!
Don't sweat the small stuff. Soak up the moment!
Getting Ready
Please prepare all the details in a box the night before so I can photograph them first thing when I arrive.
If your florist have extra flowers that they will not use, like broken flowers or extra foliage, you can ask them to give them to me. It will help me create beautiful detail shots.
Here is a list of the details you can prepare for me.
The three rings + your Jewelry
A copy of your full invitation set
Perfume
Dress + Veil
Shoes + Garter
Hair pieces
Any decoration or details you'd like to be photographed
Wearing a bowtie? Please use an already tied one or really (and I mean REALLY) practice ahead of time to tie your bow.
Your First Kiss
Here is a blog post to help you prepare for a true hollywood first kiss photo: Get The Perfect First Kiss Photo.
Before the ceremony, if your officiant or dj could ask your guests to keep their phones out of the aisle, it will help me capture the best moments.
When you walk out the aisle, don't forget to pause and give each other another kiss. It will look gorgeous with all your guests cheering around!
